When I first started working part-time with my mom as a partner in the store. I enjoyed learning how to run a retail business; buy inventory, keep track of things behind the scenes, and interact with customers. When I started my family, it was really special to be able to bring my kids as babies to work with me, and to have my mom there to help too! As Buena Vista grew, and so did the business, I was happy at the necessity and opportunity to be a full-time partner. I've loved being more involved in day-to-day business, creating unique displays, sourcing new products, and helping the customers find just what they're looking for; all while having the flexibility to spend time with my active family. Working alongside my mom has afforded me these opportunities that I couldn't even dream of. I can't wait to see what the future has in store for us at Rustic Emporium!
